What Australian Visa Do You Need?

Whether you are looking to study, work or live in Australia permanently, it’s important to know the difference between Australian visas. These are some of the Australian visas that you can apply for:

I Want To Study In Australia

Are you looking in becoming an international student and receive a world-class education? A student visa allows you to study in Australia while working a limited number of hours. If you are looking at applying for a subclass 500 visa, the documents required depends on your country of citizenship and education provider. Upon graduating, you can also apply for a temporary graduate visa which allows you to live and work in Australia.

I Want To Work In Australia

There are several visa options available for those that want to stay in Australia to work. Work visas are suitable for students that have studied in Australia or if you have a skill that the Australian government is looking for. Depending on your work visa, you may qualify for Permanent Residency (PR).

Skilled Employer-Sponsored Regional Visa is suitable for regional Australian businesses that are looking to sponsor workers for jobs that have labour shortages. The applicant must have the necessary qualifications, skills and experience to be eligible to apply for the visa.

The Temporary Graduate Visa allows applicants to live and work in Australia temporarily after completion of studies.

I Want To Live In Australia

There are several visas that allow you to live and stay in Australia permanently. These visas are often referred to as Permanent Residency (PR).

The Employer Nominated Scheme is for skilled overseas workers that are looking to live and work in Australia permanently. The subclass 186 visa can be applied for regional and non-regional areas. To be eligible, the applicant must be nominated by an approved Australian employer.

The Regional Sponsorship Migration scheme allows overseas workers to apply for Permanent Residency and work in regional Australia. The whole of South Australia, Northern Territory, Tasmania and ACT is considered regional Australia.
